life is ... odd

this morning i went for a "music workshop" in IMH. it was really cool cos the guy was very very good. you can read all about this morning in the band blog.

so i went home .. looking forward to watching a certain indonesian series on TV2 (gasp!-that's like RTM, and indonesian?-yea i noe) which is actually really nice. only that lately, things get worse and worse in the show. no, they dont all die in fire or accident (like what would happen in one of emily's stories-haha) here goes:

the mom is really a kind hearted woman but with a terrible attitude, screaming and scolding people all the time. trouble starts when, her daughter, Icha (not her blood anak but i wont explain on that cos its really complicated) went out for a 'date' with her bf la..his name is Gun (goon). Icha is a tomboy, jenis yg suka cari pasal, with a big heart. (they all have huge hearts-haha) Anyway, Icha brought Indah, her youngest sis along. While Icha and Gun angau angau berpacaran, Indah wandered off and saw a young beggar boy moaning. he was terribly hungry. and she had food. so she gave him some. meanwhile, the little boy's boss (a mean thug) saw Indah and the boy. guess what? they kidnapped her. and forced her to join the legion of young beggar kids, kids-beg-for-the-money-i-get-all-profit-they-get-none. sad sad sad.

a terrified Icha goes home with Gun, after searching franticly for Indah, and gets screamed at by her mom. (stupid old lady wont even call the cops) Gun was asked to leave. Icha was thrown out of her own home. Reno (eldest bro), Anna (sister), and Rio (kid bro) didnt want her to leave, but hell, she didnt want to stay anyway, she hated the way her mum treats her. Icha went out to the streets, met a group of punk guys (one whom she knows) and joined them.

In school, Reno beat up Gun, and blamed him for Indah's dissapearance and Icha being thrown out of home. Gun goes to Anna and told her that Reno beat him up. Anna defended Reno, cause she has a crush on him (which no one noes about). btw, Anna and Reno arent related by blood. Gun also told Anna that Icha joined the punks, he met Icha with them. Anna was so damn worried, she went to Reno and told him what Gun said. she was crying and everything and Reno was holding her shoulders, trying to pujuk her when *boom* his gf, Puteri comes in. wahliu, kecoh dibuatnya. she kept pushing Anna and Anna being the scared sissy didnt dare fight back until Puteri said something like "dont pretend to cry to get to him". adden *SLAP* puteri was hit!! wooot. 10 points for anna!! Puteri was about to slap anna back when Reno holds her back and gave her this really fierce look. "i want to break up, i care more about anna than i care about you" woooot! how's that for jiwangness?? ;) anna happy la. haha. i never really liked puteri. but i dont like anna either. oh well.

So now anna and reno are really close. i suspect he likes her too. hihi. but one day, when anna was happily writing in her diary about "how much i lurve Reno", and staring at his photo, she hears from her orang gaji that Rio (kid bro) is sick. he was burning hot, half concious and kept saying Indah's name. poor kid. Anna rushes out of her room (still holding her diary+pic - stupid!) calls for Reno and goes to Rio's room. she puts her diary on Rio's bed and tends to him. Reno was also panicky. he called up his mom. Mom quickly goes home (screaming at ppl all the way) and sobs over Rio. by this time, im getting really sick of that lady shouting angrily and weeping after that. ish~ something catches her eye when she goes all gaga over Rio. oh shit, its anna's diary!! she opens it and (dammit) reads about anna's feelings bout Reno. she looks at his pic which tersisip in the book. "anna!! reno!! come here" they reach rio's room only to get scolded by their mom. "get out of this house!! i dont want to see you!! GET OUT!!" and then she cries again. what the hell??

so yeah, all this shit happens to them. now, indah is a pro beggar, lives in a dirty old house with two mean guys and lots of dirty kids. only two of those kids are nice to her but now she only has one fren left (though constantly beaten up by Dumb and Dumber), while another is dead. (tragic eh!) but she cant remember much of her old life anymore cause she got a mild amnesia when one of those damn kids electrocuted her. she has close encounters countless times with her mom, Icha, Reno, Rio and Anna but in movies but they never actually meet do they? you Know, variations of next-to-each-other-but-didnt-notice-cos-im-looking-somewhere-else kind of things.

Icha is now a full out punk. Dyed hair, spikes, black eyes and all. She's too stubborn to go back home although she actually wants to. Her punk frens treat her good especially a guy named andre. only one guy keeps distrubing her. tried to rape her once but whoooo andre came with his gang, weapons ready. sadly, andre was killed by that guy and now Icha wants revenge.

Anna turned into some freakish i-love-to-hurt-myself person. her hair is all messed up, her eyes and baggy and puffy and she looks like a .. freak. she's the only one living in the house with her mom. but what's the use of that luxury if you've gone loco eh?

Reno wanders in the streets, hungry and miserable. Stealing from old ladies. and he almost ate a pau with worms crawling in it. ewwwwww. lives like a vagrant.

Rio refuses to come home until he finds Indah. how sweet~ after his mom brought him to the hospital, i think he escaped. he's still sick but "mak..aku nak cari Indah" ...

now when all this happens you think "where is dad???" well, last i saw he went on some business trip. hahahahhaa. *slaps forehead* someone said he died. i have no idea. his stupid wife wont even bother to tell him what's going on. sheesh. but fyi, all the kids still love each other very much and would do anything to get together again but they cant, thanks to a smart plot and total exagerration on behalf of everything that happens to them. i just blame their stupid mom that made everything worse than it is. haih~

"sudah jatuh, ditimpa tangga and banyak lagi" kalah the series of unfortunate events. hahaha. waiting in anticipation for the next episode~~~~
